The already frustrated Olapade, who was a Lagos State ex- boxer reportedly descended on his wife with several punches on her face.

It took the intervention of neighbours to rescue the woman from her husband after the children ran out screaming for help.

Reports had it that when the neighbours bust into the house to rescue the woman, they met her on the floor lying unconsciously and they quickly rushed her to the nearest hospital, while the husband was made to foot the hospital bill.

The matter was reported to leaders in the community who called on men of the Nigeria Police Force and the truck driver was arrested.
