Ex-Ondo Chief of Staff, Aminu, congratulates Aiyedatiwa

The Chief of Staff to the late former Governor Adebayo Adefarati of Ondo State, Foluso Aminu, has joined several notable individuals and well-wishers in congratulating the State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his resounding victory in last Saturday’s gubernatorial election.

Aminu, in his congratulatory message to the governor, explained that the outstanding achievements of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the November 16 governorship election contributed to his landslide victory at the poll.

He attributed the overwhelming victory of the governor to the trust and confidence the people of the state have in him, describing Aiyedatiwa as a visionary leader with an uncommon passion, and interest in the overall development of the state.

Recall that Governor Aiyedatiwa, the APC governorship candidate, recorded a resounding victory, winning in all 18 local government areas of the state. He decisively defeated his closest rival, Mr Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), securing 366,781 votes to Ajayi’s 117,845.

Aminu urged all other contestants in the governorship election to join hands with the governor in moving the state to greater heights.

He also advised Aiyedatiwa to remain focused and continue to serve with dignity, while also lauding the people of the state for turning out in large numbers to vote for their chosen candidate.

The former Chief of Staff further commended all election stakeholders, including the INEC, the security Agencies, and others, for creating a peaceful atmosphere in which the electorate could cast their votes without any form of intimidation or harassment.

He equally called on the governor to continue his good work across all sectors of the state economy and further transform the state into one that everyone will be proud of.
