The Ekiti Young Professionals Group, (EYPG) has called on the people of Ekiti State home and abroad to rally round the administration of Dr. Kayode Fayemi to properly reposition the state.

According to the Coordinator of the group, Mr. Adesoji Gabriel, the call was borne out of what the group tagged as a bold attempt to restore the glory of the state.

This was contained in a press release issued by the group after their meeting in Ado Ekiti.

The Coordinator described the group was a non partisan one dedicated to good governance and general well being of Ekiti citizenry.

He noted that EYPG saw the just concluded senatorial tour of the governor as a mixture of grassroots and populist form of governance which showed that the governor will focus on grass root development.

“To us at the EYPG, advancement of peoples’ welfare and promotion of peoples’ development remain our fulcrum and these are early signs shown by the Fayemi’s administration which has won our willingness and we shall do our utmost best to see its success.

“It is however our prayer that this good tides will not turn, as the path already created by this administration will lead to success.

“We hereby call on all and sundry to support and pray for the success of this administration as it will be to the benefit of all Ekiti and for the good of mankind”, the statement read.
