Fabidun returns as chairman Ondo Football Referees Council

The Chairman of Ondo Football Referees Council, Fidelis Fabidun has been returned unopposed for a second term.
The election which took place yesterday in Akure had Ola Adebusoye returned as the Council Deputy Chairman while Aderemi Adetula was elected as the secretary.
Akin Faseki was elected as the council treasurer,while Goke Akinbi was elected as the Financial Secretary, Olayombo Oluwabonmi became the publicity secretary.
All the elective posts were unopposed.
The newly elected Chairman of the Referees Council, in his acceptance speech said he was happy that the election was free, fair and peaceful.
He said members should forget the past and forge ahead for a better future in the association.
“We will not disappoint you, this is a new dispensation. You (referees) must all register as members of the council.
I am happy and overwhelmed by the support I have received from this association,” he said.
The chairman tasked the premier league referees in the state to always help their upcoming colleagues to improve.
The tenure of the new executives is four years.
