Nose masks and the new fashion trend

By Bamidele Kolawole

Nose masks may have come to stay as long as Coronavirus holds way. Many fashion brands have started to manufacture trend led versions that adequately protect the wearer.

That said, there’s nothing to stop you from making your own, even if you don’t have any sewing skills. In fact, a nose mask is one of the easiest crafting projects and it won’t take long to whip up something that looks good.

Your fabric can be anything, from an old scarf to a shirt that no longer fits as long as you can cut a piece from it.

You can use silk fabrics which are lovely and soft, to make you fell more comfortable while using your nose marks.

Before protective applications came about, face masks were often used by criminals, suspects, victims and even political protesters to hide their identities.

Presently, nose mask has become a new accessory category at a time when sales of traditional fashion apparel are rising.

All top fashion designers are offering stylistic options while supplying the much vaunted nose masks.

Many fashion designers have turned nose mask into more than a shield. They want to add style to what is fast becoming an everyday accessory.
