Family, friends, well wishers celebrate Pastor Rachel Abisola @ 70

Friends, family and well wishers of Pastor Rachel Abisola during the weekend trooped out to celebrate the Amazon on her 70th birthday in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The glamorous event was held at Deja Vu Event hall, Alagbaka, Akure, on Saturday May 17, 2025.
Pastor Abayomi Akinrimisi in his homily on the auspicious occasion thanked God on behalf of the celebrant for witnessing another year in sound health.
Addressing the celebrant, the cleric said, “Witnessing another year on earth in sound health without any form of disease or whatsoever is worthy of celebration, and for this reason we are thanking God over your life (celebrant).

“And I pray that God Almighty will continue to uphold you and grant you long life.
Also speaking about the celebrant, Mrs Motunrayo Adegbulero said; “Pastor Rachel’s life is worthy of emulation because of her exemplary lifestyle.
“She’s very hardworking, loving, caring, accommodating and I always admire her spiritual strength because she is prayerful. I wish her many more years on earth”.
The celebrant’s first child, Mrs Olamiji Shodunke; her son-in-law, Mr Femi Shodunke, her son, Mr Temitope Daniels and her daughter-in-law, Mrs Busola Daniels in separate interviews with our correspondent, gave thanks to God on behalf of their matriarch.
“She’s a wonderful mother who singlehandedly raised her children, She made sure that we were well taken care of and we are successful in life to the glory of God; all through her efforts.
“She’s hardworking, loving, humble, prayerful and shares love with her kids and everyone and very religious.
“She’s an amazing mother-in-law any woman could ask for, a woman who has built a great reputation worthy of emulation and we pray God should continue to uphold her and grant her a healthy long life”.
In a chart with Glamour, the celebrant, Pastor Abisola thanked God for sparing her life all these years; to still be able to celebrate her 70th birthday.

“Today is just to entertain my guests, because it’s a milestone for me. The Lord God has preserved my life and the children that. He has given unto me. We are all hale and hearty, thanking God for his fullness and faithfulness”, she said.
Highlights of the event include reading a citation of the celebrant, video presentation, accolades by family and friends, toast and cutting of cake, special presentation by her grandkids, among others.
