Family laments death of breadwinner who died during sex romp

The family of Abiodun Akintomowo, who died on Sunday during a sex romp with his concubine in a hotel in Ayeyemi, Ondo West Local Government area of Ondo State, is still in severe pain, following the death of their breadwinner.
Their anguish was caused by the sudden death of the 53-year-old man, described as the meal ticker of the family.
After the death of the deceased, the family is also battling with the demand for rituals and events occasioned by the manner of Akintomowo’s demise, following the circumstances surrounding his death.
According to a source, before the incident, the deceased reportedly told his wife that he needed some money to sort out some things which the wife gave him, but gave the money to his woman friend at the hotel.
The Hope Metro gathered that the deceased was unusually excited with people he came across a day before he met his untimely death.
The deceased’s wife who declined media interview, wept uncontrollably when our correspondent visited the family residence.
Amidst tears, she said: “That was what I saw of my husband. He is dead. Abbey died; I cannot see him again”.
However, family members and sympathizers who gathered at the late Akintomowo’s compound to condole with the family, tried to make the bereaved wife and children accept the reality that their father and husband has gone to rest and that they should move on with life.
Akintomowo’s younger sister, Mrs Yemi Oladele, who spoke about the incident to The Hope Metro, said the family had gone through a lot since the sad incident.
“We are not happy with the situation of things. But we accept our fate. We have lost a precious gift in the family,”Oladele lamented.
On her part, the deceased’s woman friend, Mrs Abosede Oluwafemi prayed for forgiveness from the family of the deceased, saying she did not know how she came across thunderbolt.
She said: “I don’t know the cause of his death. What I can only say is that after making love with Akintomowo, he started behaving funny and I shouted to call the attention of people. And immediately they rushed him to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Also speaking, the husband of the suspect Mr Ayo Oluwafemi said he was not happy with what his wife did by dating another man.
He said: “I can not do anything at this moment. She put herself into the mess and she should be the one to remove herself from it.”
