Fasua pledges transformative leadership for Akure South

The Chairman-elect of Akure South Local Government, Dr. Gbenga Fasua, has pledged to implement projects and programmes aimed at improving the lives of residents at the grassroots level.
In an interview with Weekend Hope, Fasua affirmed his commitment to upholding the principles of good governance and delivering impactful leadership to the people of the council.
He vowed to promote the work of artisans on a global scale, ensuring they can compete with their counterparts worldwide.
Additionally, he promised to support individuals seeking education or vocational training.
“I want to have upliftment on infrastructure in Akure South to be able to merge counterpart beyond the choice of Nigeria.
“I want to give my support to my people in all areas. Whatever career they have at hand to do, we want to heard them.
“We are coming up with technical training so that our people can be well trained to be able to withstand their counterpart in the world, and certificate will be given by the federal government,” said Fasua.
The chairman further stated:”We have programmes and partners we are bringing up to support us on ground to make this achievable so that Akure can be bright again.
“More investors are coming to invest, so that Akure can be habitable for everyone.”
Expressing his gratitude to the governor and the people of the state for their confidence in him, Fasua assured local government workers that, while they should not expect magic, his administration would bring about a miraculous and progressive transformation.
