Father Adedeji, buried amidst encomium

The remains of late Very Reverend father (Prof) Michael Adedeji was yesterday committed to mother earth amidst eulogies.
The late priest of Catholic Diocese of Ondo was described as a faithful servant of God who committed all his life to the service of God ,the church and humanity.
At his funeral mass held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Akure, the Bishop of Ondo Diocese, Most Reverend (Dr) Jude Ayodeji Arogundade said everything about the deceased throughout his life time were unique.
He said that the late priest was a blessing to the diocese having faithfully served the church and humanity in all his life as a priest and educationist.
The late priest who the Bishop said was a priest for over 40years was very prayerful and did all his work assigned to him diligently and prayed God to consoled his immediate family, the priestbytium.
Delivering the homily at funeral mass, very reverend father professor James Olaogun of the Department of Sociology at Ekiti State University described the deceased as a humble priest with assuming and unique personality.
He said he knew the late clergyman long time ago while he was a seminarian, adding that he was very accommodating, friendly person who involved everyone along in all his dealing.
