A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr. Sola Fatoba has urged Nigerians to embrace the anti-corruption war embarked upon by President Muhammadu Buhari for the emergence of a sane and prosperous nation.

Fatoba, who is the candidate of the APC for Ekiti Central I Federal Constituency in next year`s general elections, gave the advice in a statement issued on the occasion of World Anti-Corruption Day held across the federation.

According to him, anti-corruption war is a collective action that should be engaged by all and sundry to be effective for the benefit of our dear country.

He said President Buhari`s efforts on anti-corruption seems to be unsuccessful to most people because of lack of cooperation from those that matter in the society and those who are unable to live without corruption.

Fatoba noted that corruption has been so endemic in the fabric of the Nigerian society that it takes a lot of guts and political will to fight against it and redirect the people on the path of honesty and patriotism.

He however commended President Buhari on the feat recorded so far in the anti-corruption fight despite stiff resistance by those who want the status quo to remain.

He urged the President to continue to forge ahead, saying that though it may take time but his efforts will surely yield positive results for posterity with his name written in gold in the annals of the country.

He equally call on Nigerians to continue to give their supports for the President and ensure the success of his administration beyond 2016.
