The event which was held at the institution’s multipurpose hall, was attended by the Governing Council Members, Principal Officers, Departmental Heads, Friends of the Polytechnic as well as staff and students.

Rev. Jerry Oyegoke of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Akure, charged the audience to always be diligent in whatever they are doing.

In his welcome speech, the Polytechnic’s  Rector, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo  Fasakin, commended the members of the Governing Council and other stakeholders for their supportive roles which had engendered the notable achievements recorded last year.

He said: “One thing that is copiously evident in all we achieved is that when we bond together as a unit, no obstacle is too tall for us to surmount”
