FIBAN endorses Gov Oyebanji for second term

…applauds his performance, inclusive leadership
The Freelance and Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) has commended Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, for his exceptional performance in office, particularly in fostering an enabling environment for professional bodies and promoting inclusive governance.
The association declared that the Governor’s achievements in under three years are strong enough to earn him re-election in the forthcoming polls.
Members of FIBAN, who turned out in large numbers, expressed their support during an endorsement road walk to the Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti.
They praised Governor Oyebanji for including them in the governance process since the inception of his administration.
Speaking on behalf of the association, FIBAN Chairman, Mr. Femi Aremu, lauded the Governor’s impactful contributions to the state’s development and his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ekiti.
He highlighted Oyebanji’s open-door policy and visionary leadership, which have led to significant progress in sectors such as education, health, welfare and infrastructure.
Aremu also assured the Governor of the association’s continued support, including backing whoever he may endorse as a successor in 2030, to ensure continuity of his developmental agenda.
Responding on behalf of the Governor, the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Habibat Adubiaro, thanked FIBAN for their support and recognition.
She reaffirmed the Governor’s commitment to serving all residents of the state, regardless of political affiliation, and pledged to continue delivering on his promises.
Prof. Adubiaro acknowledged FIBAN’s role in disseminating quality information and promoting peaceful coexistence through their programmes.
She emphasized the government’s intention to further strengthen its partnership with the association for the benefit of the people of Ekiti State.
She also reiterated the administration’s dedication to prioritizing the welfare of citizens, citing the regular payment of workers’ salaries, gratuities, and pensions as a consistent achievement under Governor Oyebanji.
Present at the rally were Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Jide Awe; Special Adviser on Gender Empowerment and Mobilization, Mrs. Kemi Olaleye and Director-General of Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotoso, among others.
