Fire wreaks havoc in Ondo

Occupants of a house at power line road in Ajagbale in Oka in Ondo town the headquarters of Ondo west local government of Ondo state have been rendered homeless following a mid-day inferno that consumed the three bedroom house they occupied.
An eyewitness account revealed that the fire suddenly started and all efforts towards putting it off was proved abortive.
The men Ondo fire service who arrived the scene could not do anything as the whole building was already razed down.
Speaking with The Hope Metro, one of the occupants of the building, Mr Henry was seen lamenting the loss of his properties.
A student of Adeyemi University of Education identified as Falade Adesola who lost her belongings and her certificates in fire incident was seen wailing for her loss.
The son of the landlord, Tomide Akinlolu used the medium to appeal to government all levels as well as well meaning Nigerians to come to their aid, as the occupants of the house have been rendered homeless.
