A tragic road accident in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, claimed the lives of five people and left several others injured on Thursday evening.

The collision, which involved a truck and a police vehicle, occurred at the bustling Ore bridge.

Eyewitnesses attributed the accident to a loss of control by the truck driver. “The truck lost control while descending the Ore bridge, rammed into the police vehicle, and killed the victims inside their own vehicle,” one of them recounted.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) confirmed the incident through a phone conversation with our correspondent. The official assured that more details would be provided on the crash.
