Forest guard to appear in Court

A forest guard with the Ondo State Ministry of Agriculture (names withheld), who reportedly killed a 33-year-old man and dumped his corpse in Idanre forest, will appear before an Akure Magistrate Court this week.

A reliable source told The Hope Metro that necessary legal steps have been taken to arraign the suspect before a court of competent jurisdiction.

it will be recalled that the suspect, while driving his vehicle allegedly killed the deceased, one Mr Ayodeji Busayo, an apprentice, who graduated from Technical College, Idanre.

It was learnt that the yet to be identified guard, knocked down the victim at Adegbola junction in which he sustained injury.

eyewitness account said the suspect, thereafter promised taking the deceased to the hospital, but went to dump his body in the forest when he died on the way.
