The Ondo State Command of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has confirmed the death of four persons  in a fatal motor accident along Akure- Ondo highway.

 FRSC Sector Commander of in the state,  Mr Ezekiel Sonallah, who disclosed this to The Hope Metro, said the crash  occurred at about 5pm on Sunday at  Opa Community  in Akure South local government area of the state.

According to him, the accident involved a Silver Color Toyota Corolla with number plate  RSH 196AX and a Green  private Almera with number plate JTA279EJ heading to Ondo city from Akure.

“The number of people involved was 11, four male adults, five female adults and  two male children.

“ Three female adults and one male adult died in the crash.”

He said those injured have been taken to the Ondo State teaching Hospital, while the corpses have been deposited at the morgue.

The FRSC boss further said that the victims’luggages have been handed over to the police from B Division, led by ASP II Jamiu Enitan.
