The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ondo Unit Command has collaborated with  Ondo West Local Government Council  to eradicate road crashes in the community.

The collaboration was aimed at curbing incessant loss of lives and destruction of properties caused by road crashes within the coverage area.

According to a statement released by the Special Assistant on Media Relations to the Chairman, Mr. Oyedele Abiodun, the command under the leadership of the Unit Commander, Assistant Corps Commander N.G Olumotanmi visited the local government secretariat to strengthen efforts towards making the communities accident free.

Olumotanmi appreciated the leadership of the council for their support  over the years and promised that the command will continue to discharge its duties  with utmost professionalism and ensuring the safety of roads across the council at all times.

In his response, Chairman, Ondo West Local Government, Mr. Akinsulire Ebenezer appreciated men and women of the command for their efforts towards ensuring the safety of all road users across the local government.

He praised the agency for their operational conducts, quick response whenever theywere needed and encouraged them to always maintain utmost professionalism while discharging their duties across  in the council.

Akinsulire promised that the council will  cooperate with the command and supporting them towards ensuring that the local government area was conducive  to discharge their duties .
