Team Ekiti has won two Gold Medal at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival, tagged; “Gateway Games ” at Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Christianah Adetolu won the Fountain of Knowledge it’s first good medal in 95KG para- powerlifting.

Joshua Olaniyi increased Ekiti gold medal to two in para- shot-put event.

Ekiti State has now scooped two gold, one silver and five bronze medals occupy 21 position on the medals table as at the time of filling this report.

In Tennis, Daniel Adeleye and Success Ogunjobi settled for bronze medals after both of them lost their semi finals in male and female categories respectively.

The mood in the camp is upbeat in view of the latest results as well as for the high hopes of the Team Ekiti in the women’s doubles Tennis event.
