Penultimate Wednesday, the pupils were beautifully dressed and they were on time to celebrate and have fun as they ended the session well.

It was not just a time to celebrate but also to give quality thanks to God for the completion of a calendar year.

In his exhortation, a youth Evangelist in The Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Pastor Lanre  Tapere while thanking God for Brain Light Montessori school, Akure, noted that every child has been given to parents by God to care for, saying “children are not solely ours.”

According to him, investing in children is the greatest investment hence the need for all to make reasonable sacrifice for their children.

His words, “investment in our children is the investment in the sustainability of our generation.

“God has given us children in order to continue our legacy but most times, most people see the investment in children as investment in residue in what they have left.”

Speaking further, he stressed the need for parents to give the best to their children saying “When you give them the best, the turn out to be the best as they will also give you joy and peace. When you do this, you get rewarded by God,”

While lamenting the lackadaisical attitude   of some parents towards their children, he stressed the need for them to be well taken care of so as to ensure smooth answered prayers   from God.

However, he advised parents to spend quality time with their children especially in this period of holiday and also help them to boost their confidence.

There were various performances from the pupils to the admiration of all.
