‘Give your husband access to your breast’

The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Mrs Bisi Fayemi, has admonished housewives to allow their husbands to have access to their breasts to detect lumps which could lead to cancer on .

 Mrs Fayemi gave the charge on Tuesday during a familiarisation tour to Ekiti West ,Ido-Osi, Efon and Ikere  local government for women empowerment.

 She also called on women to take their health seriously by visiting registered hospitals for medical check up regularly.

 The Ekiti First Lady described women as the home frontiers, adding that there is need for them not to be careless with their health.

 She also advised them to eat less of carbohydrates and sugar, saying that they damage body system and cause obesity.

 Mrs Fayemi said that the visit was determined to bring succor to the women and also to empower them to be self reliant.

Some of the items distributed were grinding machines, hair dryers, cooking gas, food items, and cash.

 The Chairman of Ekiti West Local government, Mr Daniel Ayodeji appreciated the wife of the governor for putting smile on the faces of the women in the local government.
