Gov Aiyedatiwa expands free medical outreach to Ibule-Soro

Residents of Ibule-Soro in Ifedore Local Government area of Ondo State have come out in large numbers to benefit from the Free Medical Outreach initiated by the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The town hall venue was filled with the elderly, aged, and vulnerable members of the community who arrived early to access the free medical services provided by a team of healthcare professionals. Despite the overwhelming turnout, the health officials conducted the exercise in an orderly and efficient manner.
Representing the Olubule of Ibule, the Chairman of the Community Health Committee, Chief James Jaiyeoba,who also serves as the Asae of Ibule Kingdom commended the governor for the intervention.
He was joined by the community’s Woman Leader, Chief Mrs. Victoria Olayiwola, the Eyeule Obinrin of the Kingdom, in expressing appreciation for the timely health programme.
According to the leaders, the Free Medical Outreach is not only a welcome development but also a crucial step toward improving access to healthcare in rural communities.
Speaking to journalists during the outreach, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs, Dr. Seun Osamaye, said the initiative was designed to ensure that elderly and vulnerable groups are not left behind in the state’s healthcare delivery.
“The Free Medical Outreach is a deliberate effort by Governor Aiyedatiwa to extend the benefits of his health programmes to rural and underserved areas,” Osamaye stated. “Inclusivity is a top priority of this administration, and we will continue to ensure no one is neglected.”
The outreach, which began on Saturday, is being implemented by the Ministry of Women Affairs in collaboration with the Ministry of Health.
