Ekiti State Governor, Mr.  Biodun Oyebanji has  commissioned Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele’s Multimillion naira projects across the state during his 3 days visit to various constituency project sites across  the Central Senatorial District of the state.

The Senate Leader,  Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele who bagged a honorary Doctor of Law Degree from Ekiti State  University, EKSU,  facilitated  various projects in the University.

The projects include  phase two, male and  female hostels, a new modern stadium, an  F.M radio station for EKSU, which is ongoing. 

The Vice Chancellor of the University,  Prof.  Joseph Babalola, said the Senate leader  is a testament to the fact that education still remains the best investment.

The traditional ruler of the town, Oba James Adelusi Aladesuru II, the Onigede of Igede-Ekiti, and other community leaders who spoke at the event expressed their gratitude to the Senator for fulfilling his campaign promises to his constituents.

The people of the town who trooped out in their numbers  promised to continue to support  President Bola Tinubu’s government and the All Progressives Congress governments in both the state and at the National level.

While commissioning the projects, Oyebanji was full of praises for the senate leader whom he described as a gift to Ekiti State. 

The governor also thanked the people of the senatorial district  for their support for his government and assured the people of more government presence.

Also, Senator Bamidele led the governor and other dignitaries to Iyin Ekiti his hometown where the governor  commissioned  oate Mrs Abiyamo Juliana Tinuola Bamidele memorial  Ultra Modern  Event Centre, and  handed over to Bababoni Anglican Church Iyin Ekiti.

The Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti Oba Adeniyi Ajakaiye during the thanksgiving service at the Bababoni memorial Church assured the senate leader of the people’s support and prayers as he extend his gratitude to other senators who accompanied him for the commissioning of the projects.

Oba Ajakaiye described Senator Bamidele as a lover of education even as he thanked President Tinubu for honouring the Senate leader by  approving the new Federal  University of  Technology and Environmental Science,  Iyin Ekiti.
