Governor Oyebanji congratulates SSG on promotion to professor

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, on her promotion to the rank of Professor of Chemistry at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti.
The university’s Promotion and Appointment Committee confirmed her elevation in a statement released on Tuesday, noting that the professorship is effective retroactively from October 1, 2022.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, Governor Oyebanji described Dr. Adubiaro’s promotion as a recognition of her years of academic excellence, emphasizing that the honor was well deserved.
The Governor also praised the Governing Council of the university, led by Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba (SAN), for its objectivity and commitment to upholding justice and fairness.
“On behalf of the government and the good people of Ekiti State, I congratulate our hardworking SSG, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, on this well-deserved promotion.
This milestone will not only motivate her to excel further in her academic and public service roles but also inspire other citizens to strive for excellence in their respective fields,” the statement read.
Earlier in the day, Governor Oyebanji paid a visit to Dr. Adubiaro in her office to personally congratulate her on the achievement. He was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Mr. Niyi Adebayo, during the visit.
