Govt repositions Adult, Tech & Voc Ministry

In a bid to reposition the Ministry of Adult, Technical and Vocational Training, the Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Rev Akin Asaniyan has met with the members of staff of the ministry to intimate them on what to do to move the ministry forward.
The Perm. Sec encouraged them to look inward and key into the vision of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to enhance the economy of the state through Technical and vocational training.
Asaniyan also commended some students
in the government secondary school who did the state proud by excelling in JETS competition and who will be travelling out of the country soon.
According to him, Government Technical college’s in the state have the potentials to change the face of the state’s economy if properly managed.
“We mean business, we want to change the face of the economy of the state through what we garnered from outside the country”.
In her response, the Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Aarinola Akinsete thanked the Permanent Secretary for all the ideas discussed ,adding that it will really take the ministry to a higher level if put into action.
She said the product of the school will also be showcased to the public so as to increase the enrolment in all the five Government Technical college’s in the state, thereby making the people to know what they could produce.
