Group drums support for Akeredolu’s re-election

A youth political group, Continuity For Good Governance (CGG), said it has begun mobilisation  for the second term bid of Governor Rotimi  Akeredolu. The group  enjoined  people  of Ondo state to keep faith with  the governor’s  vision.

 It also called on members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the  State to strive for the development of the party so that it could have it easy in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ondo state.

 This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of Publicity of the group, Prince Kayode  Ehinlanwo at the end of stakeholders’ meeting in Ijapo, Akure.

 The communique said the state has witnessed unprecedented infrastructural development since the governor  assumed office apart from payment of backlog of salary arrears in addition to the regular payment of salaries and pensions.

 It submitted that all lovers of development must support Akeredolu’s achievements and encourage him to impact on the state.

 The group said,” as a matter of fact, nobody can deny the narrative of unprecedented infrastructural development across Ondo state.

The regular payment of salaries and pensions to the retirees in spite of harsh economic realities, the ongoing industrial revolution in Ore and other parts of the state will create more jobs for our youths to increase the state IGR are part of the achievements.

 The group also implored the Governor, Arakunrin  Akeredolu  to take charge of the leadership of the party and bring every member irrespective of their background together in the interest of the state.

 “We implore Mr Governor as the leader of the party to bring his arbitrating expertize and ample humility into play, to pacify the aggrieved and assure loyalists.
