By Kayode Afolabi,

The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT), Odigbo Local Government chapter, has applauded Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for his exemplary leadership and steadfast commitment to the state’s development.

Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the group also reaffirmed its unwavering support and loyalty to both Governor Aiyedatiwa and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The declaration was made during a well-attended rally at the Government Field in Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, which brought together members from all 11 wards of the council.

In his remarks, the Local Government Coordinator, Olakunle Oluborode, alongside Samson Akinduluremi, said the group’s endorsement of President Tinubu stemmed from the President’s impressive achievements within two years in office.

Also speaking, the lawmaker representing Odigbo Constituency I in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olatunji Ifabiyi, reaffirmed GMT’s commitment to the APC and President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

He praised the President for what he described as unprecedented accomplishments, noting that Tinubu’s performance had made him one of the most outstanding leaders in Nigeria’s history.

“If properly assessed, this group alongside others who are yet to publicly declare their support boasts no fewer than 20,000 registered members with Permanent Voter Cards.

“We are urging citizens to rally behind this administration for the continuation of its good works,” Ifabiyi stated.

In his address, the Ondo State Director General of GMT, Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, commended the Odigbo coordinators for their commitment to supporting the continuity of President Tinubu’s administration.

Ogunleye highlighted the country’s progress in socio-economic growth, education, infrastructure and security, describing these achievements as “unmatched across Africa.”

“GMT, like other APC-aligned platforms across the country, is working tirelessly for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election. Our movement spans all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,” he said.

He further added, “Without any equivocation, President Tinubu is one of the best presidents Nigeria has ever produced. In less than two years, he has transformed the nation from story to glory.”

Ogunleye concluded by expressing confidence that the Renewed Hope Agenda would deliver even greater dividends of democracy over the next four years, saying President Tinubu deserves another term to lead Nigeria to lasting prosperity.
