Some unknown gunmen have reportedly abducted a commercial motorcyclist, Patrick Gabriel Agwo, on his way to work in Ondo West Local Government area of the State.
It was gathered that the incident happened last Wednesday.
Following the incident, the community has been thrown into panic as nothing has been heard about the whereabouts of the man for a week.
The victim was said to have touched the lives of many people in his family by attending to their needs.
It was learnt that the matter was reported to the police. However their actions had not yielded any result as the victim was yet to be found.
The Hope Metro gathered that the kidnappers were yet to contact the family members.
According to his wife, Mrs Grace Patrick Agwo, said, “my husband left home to work around 11 am because he is a motorcyclist and he took me to the junction and left. “Since then, he has not come home and his number is not going through. My husband has no permanent friends and he has not done this before.
“We are waiting for his abductors to call and probably mention their ransom. We are also being careful so as not to take action that could lead the kidnappers killing him.”
The brother of the victim, Okechukwu Agwo said, “my brother left home for his okada work and since that day, we have not seen him. We’ve reported at all police stations in Ondo and also went to the hospital in case of any casualty and other places. But he has not been found.”
