A 19-year-old girl, Adetutu Okinbaloye, has been reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen at her home, Imoru in Ose local government area of Ondo State.
It was gathered that the girl was with her auntie, one Mrs Alaba Oga, when seven suspected bandits forcefully gained entrance into their building and took away the girl after macheting the woman.
The kidnappers have reportedly called the family demanding N10million as ransom.
Meanwhile, men of the Amotekun Corps were said to be on the trail of the kidnappers while Mrs Oga who got injured during the attack has been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.
Confirming the report, the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Fumilayo Odunlana-Omisanyo said the incident at Imoru was not officially reported at the station.
But she said the DPO confirmed that the monarch of the town called him while at the collation centre that three people were abducted by unknown gunmen.
She said while two escaped, the third person was whisked away.
