HAMDROMI donates medical equipment, organises free medical outreach in Oba-Ile, Ogbese

As part of efforts to improve healthcare services in Ondo State, the Abiola Makinde and Dr (Mrs) Rhoda Makinde Initiative (HAMDROMI) has donated medical equipment to the newly constructed Ifelodun Community Health Centre.

Speaking at the event, Abiola Makinde, represented by his wife, Rhoda Makinde, commended the collaborative efforts of the Ifelodun Community executive committee and the Ondo State Community and Social Development Agency in bringing the project to fruition.

“The construction of this health centre is proof that when communities unite for a common goal, extraordinary things happen. I deeply appreciate the Executives, Landlords, and Residents of Ifelodun Community for their commitment to making this project a reality. Your determination has brought this vision to life, and your efforts will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come,” he said.

The donated medical equipment included hospital beds, furniture, laboratory devices, testing kits, oxygen cylinders, and other essential items to enhance healthcare delivery.

Similarly, HAMDROMI organised a free medical outreach in Ogbese, where residents received free medical checkups, drugs, and health tips. The outreach in Oba-Ile witnessed a large turnout of beneficiaries who accessed various medical services.

Addressing residents in Oba-Ile, Rhoda Makinde emphasised that the initiative is entirely free and open to all, adding that it was personally funded as a way of giving back to the community.

She further stated that since its inception in 2017, the NGO has empowered numerous women and girls, pledging continued support for the development of Ondo State.

Beneficiaries expressed gratitude to HAMDROMI for the gesture, praying for more blessings upon Makinde and his wife for their continuous support.
