The Bible says in the book of 11 Corinthian chapter 9 verses 6-8 that he that sow sparingly shall reap sparingly and he that sow bountifully shall also reap bountifully, every man according to as he purpose in his heart, so let him give, not grudgingly or of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver. Therefore, let every one do his or her responsibility to God in order to have joy of the harvest because harvest is an injunction from the Lord.

Also, the head of the diocese of celestial church of Christ Surulere  parish 4,Oke Aro Diocesan Headquarters Akure, most superior Evangelist Dr Popoola Gabriel while describing the event, said the harvest is an annual adult harvest which is usually a week program, according to him it unite celestial together every year and it enable them to bring to bring the fruit of their labour to the presence of God for prayer. It also create forum for the Church to remember the less privileges in the society, the destitute are served food and they are given other gift items, so that they will not feel abandoned.

     He also urged the church to be steadfast and know the God they are serving, saying accountability will be require of every body when we get to heaven, he therefore advice Nigerian to pray for their leaders, noting that no one can satisfy the world so we should allow peace and tranquility to reign .

    The Shepherd in charge of the church, superior Evangelist Adebayo Samuel appreciated God for the grace he bestowed upon him, he said harvest is good because it is an authority from God and this is what Abel did to attract blessing from God. He also appreciated the church for their love and for standing by him, he prayed that the Lord will elevate them. The secretary of the adult harvest Thanksgiving, superior Evangelist Olupona Julius also show his appreciation to God for the success of the programme.
