Heartland sack Obi, appoint Boboye head coach
Heartland Football Club of Owerri has appointed former Akwa United coach Kennedy Boboye as the new head coach of the team.
Heartland parted ways with Christian Obi who has only gotten 6 points in 9 games this season. The Nazi Millionaire so far has failed to win a game in the 2023/2024 NPFL season, which has been a source of worry for the management.
Kennedy Boboye is an NPFL-winning coach who won the league with Akwa United and Pleatue in 2019 and 2016 respectively, the experienced gaffer has also been in charge of NPFL clubs like Remo Stars and Sunshine Stars.
He will be expected to bring his wealth of experience to the camp of the Nazi Millionaires.
