Herdsman docked for malicious damage

A 40-year-old Fulani herdsman, Mohamodu Umar, has been remanded by an Osogbo Magistrate Court over malicious damage of a farm.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Kayode Adepoju, told the court that the accused committed the offence on February 7, 2020 around 4:00pm at Egbedi area.
Adepoju said he maliciously damaged a farm by allowing his cows to enter and graze five acres of land of Maize and cassava plantation valued at three N3,000,000 property of one Alhaji Isah Salawudeen.
The accus Man,26, remanded for assaulting minored the person pleaded not guilty to one count charge .
The defence counsel, R. A. Ngwu, prayed the court to grant his client bail in most liberal term, promising to produce a reliable surety.
In her ruling, Adebola Ajanaku, ordered the remand of the accused person in police custody.
Ajanaku adjourned case till February 13, this year for definite hearing.
