…presents scholarships to high-fliers of first edition
The lawmaker representing Ondo West Constituency 2 in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Biola Oladapo, has flagged off the second edition of summer lesson for students in his constituency.
The epoch-making event held at Bagbe, Ondo, attracted relevant stakeholders including parents and guidance, traditional rulers, community leaders among others.
At the opening ceremony on Wednesday, there was presentation of scholarships to the high flying students who performed excellently well in the first edition of the programme.
The various stakeholders at the event lauded Hon Oladapo, for being benign in sustaining the good initiative, describing the previous edition as a huge.
They particularly thanked the lawmaker for providing quality representation which has been lacking in the constituency in the past.
Some parents of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship scheme extended their gratitude to Hon Oladapo for the hand of love he has extended and for choosing to invest in the young ones in the constituency.
According to them, the lawmaker has truly given the beneficiaries the hope as leaders of tomorrow.
While addressing the gathering, Hon Oladapo who is the Chairman House Committee on Lands, Housing, Physical Planning and Urban Development explained that the programme was part of the promises made to his constituents during the 2023 election build up.
He further assured them that he will not rest on his oars but continue to embark on more programmes that will bring succour to the good people of Ondo West Constituency 2.
The summer lesson is expected to last for one month.
