T he member House of Representatives representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo and Odigbo Federal Constituency,  Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye has urged Nigerian youths to embrace constant self – improvement through acquisition of digital skills in order for them to add value to their academic qualifications.

The federal lawmaker gave the admonition while laying the foundation for the construction of a 250 capacity technology hub and turning the sod for a Federal General Hospital in Oke Igbo.

The twin ceremony which also coincided with commissioning of a 50,000 litre cubic capacity solar powered borehole to boost the supply of portable water marked yet another significant milestone in the federal constituency

The lawmaker who noted that the two upcoming projects will not only revolutionize healthcare delivery in the community, added that the presence of such institutions will boost job opportunities for residents

The parliamentarian tasked youths to brace up with relevant training and skills acquisition so as to stake their rightful claims when the door of opportunity for senior staff opens

The lawmaker explained that the technology hub and new general hospital are manifestations of the commitment of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu  to bring affordable, accessible qualitative and effective  healthcare services to the doorsteps of the people especially in rural communities in line with the age long Yoruba saying that ” Ilera L’oro ”  ( Health is wealth )

He appreciated Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs] Mrs Orelope Adefulire, saying their painstaking support were crucial towards the facilitation of the projects.

Reacting to the positive wind of change blowing across the federal constituency, the secretary to Oluoke Chiefs in Council, Chief Lawrence Oloyede said  Adefiranye has undoubtedly written his name in gold for the way and manner he has been pushing for a facelift of the electorate in all beautiful ramifications

For the Ojomu of Okeigbo kingdom,  Chief Dele Oduwale, Hon. Festus Adefiranye deserved the prayers and support of the people as his track record has proved to all that he is a rare breed of politicians who believed that public office is an avenue to better the lots of the masses

A community leader, Professor Oluyemi Akinyemiju described the love of honourable Festus Adefiranye for his people as exceptional.

 The widely traveled university don charged the constituents to appreciate their representative at the green chamber of the national assembly whom he claimed has dedicated his time, talent and tentacles of connections to their wellbeing.
