Hoodlum shoots farmer in Ose

Operatives of the Ondo State Police Command are now on the trail of a suspect, in connection with the attempted murder of two farmers, Mr Lucky Aghoenu and Mr Oyibo Smith in Ose Local Government area of the State.
The Hope Metro learnt that Aghoenu was hit by the pellets from the shots by the hoodlum.
It was gathered the victim had gone to the farm with his friend after the hard day’s work and was resting at night on Friday when the assailant stormed the farm house and attacked Aghoenu about 11pm.
He was said to have been shot with a locally made gun by the hoodlum, who took to his heels, leaving him in a pool of his blood.
It was learnt that the victim was rushed to Adelabu private hospital in Ifon and was later transfered to Federal Medical Center Owo where he is currently receiving medical attention.
Our correspondent learnt that the incident was reported at the Ifon Divisional Police station, leading to the search of the suspect, as police intensify investigation to arrest the culprit.
