Music is a way I express all my thoughts to the world, sometimes there are some situations that are unexplainable but with music I can pass the message across. I find this interesting and that is why I key into it.

This is the word of a fast rising Afro singer, Adeoye Ayooluwatomiwa Jubal who said he doesn’t really like to classify his sound but if need be “I would say I sing afro.

Jubal made the statement in an interactive season with Friday extravaganza over the weekend where he shed light to his carrier and passion for music.

He described his journey into music as destiny because contrary to popular belief that musicians mostly know their purpose very early in life, his case is totally different because rather than starting at a tender age someone pushed him into it sometimes ago and from there on he has keep the wheel rolling.

Juba started his Afro music in 2015 and is planning on making it major part of his life not only because of the exposure but because it gives him an avenue to pass across messages to contribute to the society.

The artist disclosed to Friday extravaganza that he initially beginning as a raper before switching to Afro later “I started with rap and continued to build it until I could classify my sound”

He said the journey was tough at the onset to an extent that there are moments he got fed up because people value rave rather than message , but he stuck to it and he is still sticking because he believe something great will happen soon.

The Musician who said it is not easy to release good music noted that he is planning on releasing one by next year. Adding that he will take his time to produce quality one.

Just like every other artiste Jubal identified money as his most significant challenge. He also identify Adekunle Gold and Fireboy as his role models.

While noted that music will be his major carrier in the future he made it known that he is also a make up artist on one side and will like to continue with it too.

On his source of inspiration he said ” My inspiration sometimes comes from my immediate environment, situations and life in general.”

He urged his fans to watch out for an historical music he will be releasing next year with a promised that it is going to be an epic.

Advising other upcoming artist he said ” My advice to them is that they should keep on trying and striving, one day that star will shine so bright that haters are going to need shades”.

Adeoye Ayooluwatomiwa Jubal who hail from Auga Akoko in Ondo State is presently studying mass communication at the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko.
