By Oluwadamilola Akinduro

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Tolibian, has revealed how he slipped into depression after the buzz surrounding his viral track, Ramadan, faded.

The song, which became a social media sensation during the 2025 Ramadan fast (February to March), earned massive traction and even caught the attention of rapper Odumodublvck, who jumped on the remix.

In a recent chat with content creator, Akin Abolade, Tolibian opened up about his struggle with depression following the short-lived fame.

“After the buzz of Ramadan faded, I became depressed at some point,” he confessed.

Despite the setback, the singer remains optimistic, describing Ramadan as an “evergreen” tune he believes will trend again during future Ramadans.

He also assured fans that he’s not backing down anytime soon: “I’ll keep pushing until I get my next hit.”
