An Ondo state born footballer, John Olorunda Seyi has said he can proffer solution to the goal scoring challenge of Sunshine Stars Football Club.

Olorunda, who plied his trade with Snippers Football Club Ijapo ,Akure , disclosed this to the Sporting Hope at his Club’s training ground in Ijapo estate, said “if the opportunity is extended to me, I will work hard to put an end to the scoring challenges of Sunshine Stars”.

“I had demonstrated my scoring ability against Sunshine Stars during our encounter with them in the last year Federation Cup (FA) when I netted a beautiful goal against them, in the match that ended 2-1 in favour of the Owena Whales”.

His words, “is not compulsory that a stricker must have three to four chances before converting one, like I earlier said, if given  the opportunity I will do my best to turn things round for Sunshine Stars, by trying as much as possible to convert our chances to goals”.

Sunshine Stars have been finding it difficult to score goals at home as expected by their fans .

Olorunda averred that Sunshine Stars no doubt have quality and good stickers in persons of Sasere, Fabiyi and others, adding that the team needs more creativity in the midfield, the midfielders  should continue to push the ball forward and create a beautiful chance for the strickers.

He therefore advised the Sunshine Stars supporters to continue to believe in the team , they need our support more than ever before .

“Let’s continue to support our darling team, they will overcome the goal scoring challenges in no distance time,” he appealed.
