A Gospel singer and leader of Zion Praise Musical ministry, Rebecca Amwanat Gideon popularly called Becky has identified Finance as one of her major challenges .

She described Holy Spirit as her source of inspiration, adding that most times she receives songs in dreams, sometimes when studying the word of God and occasionally base on circumstances.

The gospel singer who stated this in an interview with Friday Extravaganza during the week said music is her in born gift.

She found herself doing it from her tender age when she used to gather her age mate and those below her every night in the street to drum and sing for them to dance.

Becky labelled music as what gave her hope and help her to stay alive, stressing that life without music is rubbish and uninteresting.

According to Becky, music is not an inheritance to her even though her mother do sing natural and beautiful song. She said she began to realize music is not just a talent but a calling for her when she joined the church choir and started doing exceptionally  well to the extent that she became a very popular figure in the church and the street.

The Zion praise musical ministry leader who does not really have a role model base on her perspective that overtime those with role models tends to sing like them and thereby digress from their unique natural talent said she wanted to build her own world and sing in her own style even though she loves Mama Bola Are, Steve Crown and Don Moen music.

She admonished her fans to be expecting her rising, to be expecting powerful transformational songs from her at all time and promised them never to work outside the objective of her ministry, Zion Praise Music Ministry which is to unleash the word of God through songs for the world.

Becky, a native of Karfa village in Bokkos local government area of Plateau state is a member of Gospel Faith Mission international (GOFAMINT) shagari village Akure, a district choir chord GOFAMINT, Obanla district Akure and also an ex choir coordinator of GOFAMINT Students fellowship Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Ondo State chapter where she studied Mass communication for her National Diploma and Higher National Diploma respectively.

She has won many awards of excellence to her credit which include Best singer of the year, Choir coordinator of the year among others. She is currently serving her father’s land in Ogun State.

She noted that she has dreams of becoming a star, host concerts within and outside the country and that she had composed several songs with the help of God but currently financially handicap to promote them as money answereth all things just like the Bible said.

She however advised other upcoming artistes like herself to allow God to lead them, to keep developing themselves and society with inspirational songs capable of promoting peace, unity and harmony, to be humble enough to listen to advice and always take to correction in order to reach their peaks in life.
