I ‘ll consolidate good governance -lawmaker-elect

A lawmakers-elect for Owo/Ose Federal constituency, Otunba Timehin Adelegbe, has said that he will consolidate good governance for his constituents through his better understanding of legislative processes.

Adelegbe, who disclosed this in a chat with The Hope, said he will continue with his superlative performance in the first term to sustain his trait of legislating.

He explained that his understanding of legislative process under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a great advantage to him to enhance his performance in making lives more better for his constituents.

Focus on rural area, according to him, was his target in the second term as he noted that his first term was used to concentrate on urban areas for development in the constituency.

“Performance in my second term will be very easy for me because the process of legislature is known to me and it is for me to enhance my performance to make life more better for my people.

“I want to impact on my people in the interland or villages because l concentrated on the major towns in my first term,” the lawmaker said

While asked, what should Nigerians be expecting from the 10th House of Representatives, Adelegbe replied that he could not say anything until the whole house assembled.But, assured that some of them will make impressive difference.

The legislator, who noted that his victory on February 25 hinged on his performance in the first term, spread, structure and confidence in the APC despite the naira swap policy..”People appreciated and voted in that line to reelect me for the second term.

“My constituents should continue to believe in me and be rest assured of my performance in the second term” he stated.
