It was a glorious performance when Evangelist Stella Ajibola and her Messiah Praise Band, with some of her friends in gospel music industry, praised God in a new dimension during her 5th anniversary of musical concert.
The Akure-based gospel artiste, with the theme, “Victory Praise” held the programme at St. Daniels All Christians Assembly a.k.a Oluwatosimile, at the weekend.
During the programme, the church was filled to capacity with people from different walks of life dancing, shouting Hallelujah when Ajibola was ministering, because everyone was blessed during her ministration. as their spirit was lifted.
According to her, the grace and love of God upon her life kept her organizing the programme every year.
Ajibola, while speaking with Friday Extravaganza, said that it was the voice of God that instructed her to organize the programme annually, and promised to continue with it till Jesus comes back.
“I have been seeing the mighty hand of God upon my life since I have been doing this programme, I don’t have any sponsor, but Christ sponsors me, and he has been refreshing my pocket each time I praise Him.
“I’m a principal of a secondary school in Akure, and I have tried other business apart from been a principal, but I used to fail.
“I didn’t dabble into music, it was God that called me, when I saw how things were moving in my life, I called one of my mummies in the Lord, who happened to be a prophetess and told her the changing situations.
“She told me that God told her that I’m a fisher of men, saying that the only thing I can do is God’s work, apart from being principal.
“I rehearsed with my band member once in a while, and I also have my own rehearsal personally where there is no noise.
” I received songs directly from the Holy Spirit, and also in my dream, if I dream about it and immediately I woke up I always put them down.
The artiste, who has been singing for five years said that she loved praising God with what she has.
According to her, she is training her voice for her to maintain good voice, drinking hot water and honey, and also by listening to the good melody, through which she can gain inspiration.
She noted that she had told all her children to take music up, to sing for God, saying that was the reason while they bear name that deal with God.
She mentioned some challenges she encountered since she has been doing the programme, saying the issue of finance is a big challenge, but God has never disappointed her, through God’s help, she had released four albums within five years.
Ajibola, gave thanks to Almighty God, who made the day a reality for her, and to everyone that came to grace the event, and prayed to God that the grace of God will be sufficient for them all.
The artiste appreciated her husband for given her support in her music career, saying her husband is a one in a million.
She enjoined gospel artistes to be focused, and contented with what they have, saying money should not be their priority in gospel music line. They should work before God and know whom they are serving.
Those who attended the programme included Pastor Olasunkanmi Adelola, the pastor in charge of St. Daniel All Christians Assembly a.k.a Oluwatosimile, who described Ajibola as a God fearing woman that works for God with her whole heart.
According to him, that is what she loved doing most in her life, she loved praising God with what she has.
He urged everyone to imbibe the spirit of praising God, because that was what God asked from humans.
In his words, he prayed for Ajibola that she will not derail and God would uphold her till the end.
Mr Sunday Ajibola described his wife as a virtuous women discipline, loving, caring adding that she is a woman of God.
He described the programme as unique, saying they felt the presence of God in their midst
