A Nigerian gospel artiste, Evang. Arowolo Temitope popularly known as Tope Omo Alagbawi has urged all gospel singers to walk in God’s way.

He said that if they walk with God with all their heart, according to the word of God, he will definitely reward them and bless those that wait for him.

According to him, gospel artistes should not allow the quest for money to debar them from offering their services as they should.

He pleaded with them that during their own tribulation or trial they should move forward no matter what, and not look back because success is surely on the way.

Sharing with Weekend Extravaganza on how he started, Tope Omo Alagbawi said, “I started drumming by turning tin cans into a drum set in the primary school, where I formed a group and we started singing together till we finished from primary school.

“I formed my own ministry when I was in secondary school, JSS3 to be precise, and since then God has been sustaining me.

“I discovered my talent when I was in secondary school, God told me to use my voice to be praising him, and I have been doing it since then.”

The singer, who hails from Esa Oke in Osun State said that his music is to set people free from their bondages.

The graduate of accounting from Osun State College of Technology said it was not easy when he started.

According to him, “The honorarium we receive from those ones were not encouraging at all. We sometimes used our own money to fuel my vehicle.
