A Nigerian gospel artiste, Evangelist Kenny Ologoara, popularly known as Mama Sax, said music is inbuilt from the onset of her life.

The artiste said she started leading her school mates as a lead vocalist when she was in primary school till she  finished her secondary school.

According to her, she was a choir mistress in her school, and during her university days where she had more interest for music.

“God deposited a gift in me which my teachers saw that made them appointed me to lead my mates whenever we have any ceremony in our school.

“I have passion for music right from my tender age, because I have been singing since when I was six years old, I love music. I can not do without music.

“I cannot say precisely a particular year that I started music, I grew up with music, and I love being in the music industry.

The singer, who hails from Ilesha in Osun State, said that her aim is to make good impact on  people’s life.

According to her, she wishes that her chosen career should take her to a greater place in life and build an entertainment hall that will contain 10,000 people at a time where they can praise God alone.

In her words, my dream is to build TV and Radio stations that will bring so many people to be working in my establishment.

A graduate of Music from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, said that the challenges and war she faced gave her the courage that she has a call from God.

“I love challenges, things people say are too hard, I want to do it conveniently because nothing is too hard for God to do.

“I don’t believe you cannot do it, I believe that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

“If there is no war, there won’t be victory, if there is no challenges, there won’t be glory, I thank God for all the challenges I encountered, it made me to know that I have a goal.” She said.

The singer said she had released four  albums and two live cassettes which are selling fast in the industry.

She urged all gospel artistes to know the God that called them, they should not because of money deviate from God’s ways.

She added that artistes should be themselves not be a photocopier because photocopy can never be original and they should put their trust in God saying by doing this, sky is their stepping stone.

According to her, she mentioned some mentors that she looks up to in music industry such as Evangelist Yinka Ayefele and Dr Bisi Alawiye Aluko JP and some other people that she can learn good things from.

She affirmed that it is only mercy that settled her case in the music industry that made her to be able to compete with her colleagues in the industry.
