I was once ignored when I tried publicising my talent -Jose Bidah

Success they say usually comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it. This is the fact applicable to an upcoming musical artiste, Olawale Joseph who was once ignored in the entertainment industry but through hardworking, has started counting his numerous blessings.
Olawale, also known as Jose Bidah who hails from Ogbomoso in Oyo state disclosed to Friday’s Extravaganza his music career, challenges and successes in his musical career so far.
Being an RnB, Afro Pop and Hip-hop musician, Jose Bidah said he has had this musical talent ever since he was in secondary school.
According to him, he practiced singing then in school but didn’t really build up on it due to lack of focus and time. He added that although he love music but was more focused on academics. Nevertheless, he got motivated back into music when he started listening to more of Wande Coal and Chris Brown’s songs.
He then stressed that he started writing his own lyrics ever since then.
Being in his third year as an undergraduate in The Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA, Jose Bidah said he got admitted to the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti in 2014 where he studied Civil Engineering and then proceeded to FUTA in 2017 where he is currently studying Biology.
Striking the balance between his academics and his musical career, he said “actually, that is one of the challenges we students in the music industry faces but thankfully, I am able to balance them up by creating time for what I love doing and not neglecting my studies”. He said.
Jose Bidah, who appreciated the efforts of his parents towards the success of his musical career affirmed that his ultimate drive as a musician is to be the best at what he love doing which is singing.
Facing several challenges, Jose Bidah said, “like I said earlier, balancing music with studies is one, and also creating out the time to write the lyrics, pay for studio sessions, and being able to publicize the song to the general public is a huge challenge because a lot of fund and resources would have to be put into place”. He said.
However, Jose Bidah wrote his first track titled “Addicted” which is now a hot cake in the entertainment industry is 2020.
According to him, he is currently working on dropping some more tracks later on. “I have a lot of songs still waiting to be released but currently I’ve released a song which is Addicted.”
For Jose Bidah, he has chosen to take after Wande Coal, a Nigerian Hip Hop artiste as his role model while on the foreign side, chooses Chris Brown in the entertainment industry.
While advising other upcoming artiste never to give up but put in their best which will surely pay off one day, he said he also has faced challenges but later summoned up the courage to give in his full best.
