I will serve with my best of ability- former Nasarawa United skipper, Sunshine Stars my dream team – Ojo

Sunshine Stars newly signed player and former Nasarawa United captain, Seun Sogbesan, said he is ready to serve his new team with the best of his ability.

He told The Sporting Hope in Akure, after he put pen to the dotted line for a season long contract, saying his reunion with his former boss  (Kabiru Dogo), will bring forth  good results to the team .

The former Nasarawa United skipper said, “I’m happy to team up with Sunshine Stars, I believe that the collective efforts of the players will lead the team to achieve its objective this season.

“My arrival at the club is an act of God ,I have a lot of offers from clubs, like Enyimba, Rangers and other clubs .

“But I decided to reunite with my former coach due to good information I heard about Sunshine Stars and I am not disappointed with what I’m seeing in the team now”.

Every season is always a challenge as player, because you will want to prove what you are capable of doing and even do more than what you did in the previous season.

He reiterated by saying “With team work, collective efforts of everyone we can achieve our continental ambition this season. We need just to play as a team, and already it’s a strong group.” Sogbesan submitted.

While a goal tender, Ayo Ojo, who was recruited from Osun United averred that he joined Owena landlords to win NPFL .

According to him , “I noticed it has been long (NPFL) trophy came to Southwest, so I decided to come here to helped bring the old good days back to the region .

“Sunshine Stars is a big team in Nigeria Professional Football League the team is my dream team as young footballer , so when the offer came my way I never hesitated to grab it.

With the unity in the team I see us going far in the league this season and achieve our set goal,” he stated .
