The Magistrate Court sitting in Ibadan, Oyo State Capital has remanded in prison custody a former wife of Ooni of Ife, Naomi Silekunola ; ace broadcaster, Oriyomi Hazmat and the principal of Islamic High School, Bashorun, Mr Abdullahi Fasasi.

It would be recalled that no fewer than 35 children died in a stampede that happened in Ibadan on Wednesday last week during a children’s funfair organized by Ooni’s wife in partnership with the veteran broadcaster.

During their arraignment on Tuesday, the Chief Magistrate, Bisi Ogunkanmi remanded the three defendants on four-count bordering on conspiracy and murder.

However, the three defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The court adjourned the matter till January 13,2025.
