According to a statement issued by Oluwaseun Ogunniyi, the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, the committee is tasked with engaging the concerned parties and ensuring a peaceful resolution.

“The committee is expected to submit its report within a month,” the statement added.

Justice Adeyanju Nelson was appointed as chairman of the committee, with Mr. Ayodeji Ageh serving as secretary.

Other members include Comr. Segun Iji, Barr. Fola Olasehinde, Dr. Saliu Omotoso, Barr. Mateawo Ebenezer, and Hon. Taiwo Owanikin.

However, Ojo emphasised the need for unity and urged the committee members to carry out their responsibilities with diligence and fairness.
