Ignore false recruitment alert– Ondo TESCOM
The Ondo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has issued a stern warning to the public regarding the circulation of false recruitment alerts purportedly originating from the commission.
In a recent statement, TESCOM clarified that it has not initiated any recruitment exercise nor authorized any third party to do so on its behalf. The commission emphasized that any recruitment forms or online advertisements claiming to represent TESCOM in teacher recruitment are entirely fraudulent and should be disregarded.
Mrs. Funmilayo Akinola, the Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Teaching Service Commission, urged individuals to verify the authenticity of any recruitment advertisement directly from the office of the Permanent Secretary.
The statement concluded with the assurance that a state-wide broadcast will be made as soon as TESCOM receives approval for teacher recruitment into the state public secondary schools.
This warning comes amidst concerns over the proliferation of fraudulent recruitment schemes targeting unsuspecting job seekers in Ondo State. The public is advised to exercise caution and vigilance when encountering recruitment advertisements to avoid falling victim to scams.
