As Ondo State All – Stars Veterans Football competition progresses, Ijapo Ages All-Stars FC will lock horns with Akure All-Stars in the week four of the tourney at the Ondo State Sports Complex tomorrow morning.
Ijapo Ages All-Stars FC had earlier played a barren draw with Ondo All-Stars in the opening match of the competition, while Akure All-Stars thrashed Immigration 2-0 in their first match; Akure township stadium is hosting all the matches on every Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, NBA Sunshine will battle Akure Veterans in the first game of the match day.
The encounter between Akure All-Stars and Ijapo Ages All-Stars will be entertaining as both sides are in high spirit to display football artistry to the admiration of the spectators.
The competition according to the organisers “was put in place to re-unite old play mates across the state, it’s a competition but not a do or die affair”.
Nine All-Stars Veterans teams have registered for the competition organised for the retired, but not tired Ex-Footballers.
