Two persons have reportedly lost their lives while ten were  severely injured in a fatal accident that occurred at Jubilee area of Ikare Akoko on Sunday.

The Hope Metro gathered that the ten injured persons were nine male and one female.

The accident which occurred at about 10 minutes to seven in the morning, involved a blue Hiace bus with number plate ZAR388F and some commercial motorcycles .

It was learnt that the Abuja bound commercial bus, was on a high speed when it hit some commercial motorcyclists and their passengers.

A credible source in the Federal Roads Safety Corps, Ikare Akoko Unit, confirmed that the two people who died in the accident were all men.

The source also disclosed to our correspondent that those injured sustained several degree of injuries with some with fractures and cuts.

The injured people have been taken to the Ondo State Specialist Hospital,  Ikare Akoko for medical attention while the vehicles involved in the accident have been taken to the Ikare Akoko Police Division.

Efforts to speak with the Commander of the Ikare Unit of the FRSC and the Divisional Police Officer, Ikare Akoko, were not successful as their lines were not available.
